Prefix reg have a single year identifying letter, then a 1, 2 or 3 digit number, and finally 3 more letters. They are suitable for vehicles registered from 1983 onwards.
If your vehicle is from 2001 or younger, you can freely select any plate from the prefix plate selection. Prices start from as little as £232 inc. VAT.
New Style registrations have a 2 letter prefix, followed by a 2 digit year identifier, and finally 3 more letters. They are suitable for vehicles registered from 2001 onwards.
Please do remember that if you find your perfect number plate but don't yet have a vehicle of suitable age to display it on, you can purchase many registrations and keep them on certificate for use in the future!
